I've just discovered a lovely blog called Allotment Lady, where you can "...look through ‘windows’ of a simple, but very happy life." The blog is a delight to read and there are lots and lots of wonderful photos too. I never knew that chickens could be such fun characters until I read her blog! Go have a look and see what I mean.

StickYourNeckOut is a website where authors and artists are invited to submit (via email) their original works of fiction or nonfiction literature and graphic arts to be published on the site for free. Although you don't get paid, you gain publicity via the website.
FixMyStreet
FixMyStreet is a very useful website designed to "...help people report, view, or discuss local problems they’ve found to their local council by simply locating them on a map."
The site is easy to use - simply enter a postcode or streetname and area, then locate the problem on a map, and enter details of the problem. You can report all sorts of things to your local council via FixMyStreet, such as; pot holes, road markings, abandoned cars, dog fouling, graffiti, broken street lights, flytipping, damaged pavement, etc. The site is free to use.

I love it. I've been using Ta-da List for ages and it really is as easy as they say. I use it for keeping various lists - favourite songs, favourite movies, favourite books, things I want to buy, quotations, links, projects, etc.
