I've always struggled to understand maths and ended up hating it so I was pleased to find Visual Math Learning, a great website that offers a free online tutorial to help make maths understandable and even fun!

The site provides maths exercises and games too. I can see now why some people actually enjoy mathematical chanllenges.

Stuck in London is a very cool site, written by Kirsty Henderson, a Canadian living in London. The site is a useful "guide for living, working and playing in London" with lots of practical information and advice about day to day life in London.

I particularly like the guide to the areas of London with practical and candid information including both good points/bad points to each area. This is exactly the kind of information that is especially useful before choosing to move to London!

There is also a very handy guide to London prices which is sure to be a popular feature for anyone considering a move to London, especially since there is a currency converter too.

Stuck in London is a very impressive site and deserves kudos for offering so much practical information and advice. If you are about to move to London or just moved there and wondering how you are going to cope with everything, Stuck in London is a handy resource for you. It's a brilliant site!

The site is a fantastic resource for students entering university in the UK with lots of articles offering practical information including advice about accommodation, budgeting, and creating a CV and cover letter.

There are also helpful articles about socialising and relationships and how to cope with homesickness. There is a feature about how to prepare for potential emergencies too.

To help with planning and packing for university, there is the handy pre-Uni checklist.
