Brenda Dayne, an American living in Wales, runs a very popular knitting podcast called Cast On. Brenda has a way with words and her soothing voice and thougtful musings about knitting, is always informative and entertaining. Brenda's friendly and lively chat is interspersed with lively music too.

I dare say that even if you don't knit, you would probably enjoy listening to Brenda's Cast On podcast. Give it a try and I bet you will become addicted to her podcast like I have!

Read the informative blog to learn about different areas of London and listen to a detailed walk presented by Robert Wright.

Free Walks in London is an excellent resource for information about London! I've just discovered the site and I plan to read through all the past posts and listen to all the podcasts. I'm amazed that Mr Wright offers all of it for free! He will accept donations to help support the site, of course.

I love finding sites that focus on one speciality so I'm really pleased to discover the educational Man and Mollusc web site which is all about molluscs:

You know molluscs by many names: snails, clams, tusk shells (the "wampum" of North American natives), chitons, limpets, octopuses (or octopi), squid, and even slugs.

Zen Habits is a blog to turn to for all sorts of useful tips and advice about ways to make your life easier, more productive, and indeed potentially better and happier.

Leo Babauta writes the Zen Habits blog and this is from the "about" page:

Zen Habits covers: achieving goals, productivity, being organized, GTD, motivation, eliminating debt, saving, getting a flat stomach, eating healthy, simplifying, living frugal, parenting, happiness, and successfully implementing good habits.

The blog follows a weekly routine with features on a specific topic so Monday focuses on productivity and organization, Tuesday is about finance and family, Wednesday is about simplicity, Thursday is about happiness and Friday is focused on health.
